Over 50 Traveling

Don't wait another day!

Wow – Christmas was an amazing time for me!  It was filled with wonderful family memories.  We traveled to Bear Lake, Utah and stayed in our Worldmark Timeshare for a week.  It was a modest place but warm and comfortable.  The pool and hot tub were great – except the pool was a little too cold for me.  Van’s family owns a cabin just across the state line in Idaho.  The views were absolutely amazing.  The huge lake took on a different color nearly everyday.  We went skiing at Beaver Mountain and were duly impressed with the small family owned resort.

We explored a bit of Montpelier while we were there – I wrote a blog post about the museum there!  It was a great day trip for us.  It’s a short drive away and well worth touring no matter the season.

We had a birthday dinner at Cooper’s – a place the family has been for years.  The food is good and the service excellent.  We enjoyed our time together as a family.

Don’t hesitate to travel there in the summer when water sports abound…or in the winter when winter sports are equally as good!  There are miles of snowmobiling around, the ski resort, and just enough activity in town to keep the family interested.  It’s pretty quiet and makes for a nice family get away!
