The next trip????

Planning for the holidays?  What are you doing to get ready?  I have made the reservations and now have to work out the logistics….what do I bring with me…what do I buy once I arrive?  How close are the grocery stores and are they even open in the Bear Lake area during Christmas week?  How many days will my legs hold up for skiing?  Can I work out enough between now and then to be ready to ski?  Will there be snow and open resorts?  Will the kids be coming?

Franticness…Yes?  Holiday spirit right?

Remember to enjoy the moment…don’t get so caught up in the details – there’s still 22 days for me to get ready.  Or so I keep telling myself! We are planning a ski trip to Utah for the holidays.  Luckily we are driving so I don’t have to worry about packing lightly!  I’m not sure how one can do that anyway!  Backpack traveling was difficult enough going to a warm climate.  Heavy clothes, long johns, ski’s (guess you rent those) hats, gloves, etc.  I don’t think I can backpack it all.  Maybe you just buy stuff when you get there and donate it somewhere when you are done?  Anyone done this kind of packing?  Advice for me?

Well here’s to traveling much more in the future.  I’m hoping that this blog will eventually catch on and I will figure out how to share it.  I am planning to do some travel writing and videography too while I’m traveling.  Many trips coming up over the next year.  What’s on your bucket list?  I’m hoping for Paris next fall….
